A Pilgrimage to Burnside’s Bridge

I first saw The Sandbaggers in the late 80's on my local PBS in New Jersey and I was hooked from the start.

In October, 1993, I made my own pilgramage to London and spent three days tracking down locations.

A couple of the sites were undergoing maintenance and I couldn't get as close as I wanted to, but I didn't mind - it just meant that they are being taken care of for future pilgrimage makers.

My husband Dave--who is now a fan too--and I went to England on our honeymoon in November 2000.

We recently bought a house in Virginia and now that the unpacking is nearly complete, we're looking forward to another trip this May - at which time he and I will be searching for more location shots.

I'm determined to find the SIS office building this time.

It's such a treat to share the Burnsides Bridge section with Wendy and Dave Laing.

I'm a voice actress and over the last year or so, I've had the pleasure of recording and producing Wendy's books on audio CD. I met her through our mutual fanship of The Sandbaggers and I'll always be grateful for that.
